CALLOUT 5:2018. Called to assist Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust in the recovery of a gentleman who had fallen on the hill near the village of Heolgerrig, Merthyr Tydfil. Initial request was to help locate the casualty and using Sarloc Rescue technology we quickly established his location. Once treated by WAST HART we packaged him up and carried him off the hill to be met by his Wife. He was taken off to hospital to asses the extent of the injury. A painful leg injury from which we wish him a speedy recovery.
