Central Beacons were called by the Welsh Ambulance Service to help rescue a female walker who had injured her ankle and was unable to walk. Together with our colleagues from Western Beacons Mountain Search and Rescue Team, Brecon Mountain Rescue Team and Dyfed Powys Police we were able to immobilise her ankle and carry her off by stretcher to an awaiting ambulance.
