At 5pm today we were called out by Dyfed Powys Police to rescue a lady walker who’d injured her ankle and unable to walk out of the waterfalls area near Ystradfellte.
Along with colleagues from Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust HART we also enlisted help from our neighbours at Brecon Mountain Rescue Team & Western Beacons Mountain Search and Rescue Team as we were able to quickly access the lady, immobilise her suspected broken ankle and carried by stretcher to the car park. From there she was transported to hospital and of course we wish her a speedy recovery.
Great inter agency working and incident number 81 for us so far in 2017.
