Callout:
We were back out again this afternoon, this time to assist our South Wales Police : Heddlu De Cymru colleagues to search for a male walker who’d become lost in forestry around the Garwnant area north of Merthyr Tydfil.
With very limited info to work on and relying on local knowledge our search managers, working alongside a Search Dog (SARDA South Wales) search manager, deployed searchers into key forestry trails, wooded areas and river courses.
Soon into the search, one of the groups located our man who was uninjured but very cold, tired and relieved to see us.
We were able to walk him to the awaiting
Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust ambulance at the car park.
We’re very glad of a successful end to our 4th incident in 4 days.
