Callout: 93/17. At tea time today the team responded to assist an injured 15 year old male who sustained a suspected broken ankle whilst out walking with his family, who were on holiday from France, in the waterfalls area near Ystradfellte.
Having been treated by one of the teams Casualty Carers he was then airlifted to hospital courtesy of R187 from St Athan.
The remainder of the family were then taken back to their vehicles so that they could join him. We wish him a speedy recovery
