Central Beacons MRT relies on the generosity of the public to fund our life saving services and are a charity staffed by unpaid volunteers. Unlike other 999 services, around 95% of our funding comes from the generosity of the public making donations.
Raising funds for us will help us save a life, is fun and also a great way to challenge yourself, whether your selling cake at a bake sale or climbing a mountain, you can choose to support us and raise awareness of our work at the same time!

JUMP FOR CENTRAL BEACONS MRT
HOW IT WORKS
You’re required to raise a minimum of £395 in sponsorship. If you select one of the charities listed they will allow you to use some sponsor monies raised to cover the cost of your jump. The breakdown is –
£230 pays for your skydive. (£50 deposit is required at the time of booking. Leaving on the day you arrive to jump £180 to pay.)
£165 then goes to the charity.
The payment for your jump includes the instructor payment & third party insurance.
If you raise more than £395 the cost of the skydive remains the same & the charity receives a bigger donation. We will provide you with sponsorship forms when we have received your deposit. All the charities listed on our website are happy for you to use sponsor monies to cover the cost of your jump.
Some people prefer to cover the cost of the jump themselves not using sponsor monies raised which is fine. If you wish to pay the £230 jump fee yourself then we ask that you just raise a minimum of £165 for the charity/cause of your choice.
Scroll down to see our list of charities we are associated with.
Please note that on the day of your jump you are required to pay for the balance of your skydive with cash or postal order. If you have used Just Giving to raise all of your sponsorship online then you will not be able to do this. Therefore we suggest that some sponsorship money is raised using the sponsor forms provided in order to be able to jump for free.
Fundraising: We recommend that you maximise your fundraising by signing up with JustGiving.com and selecting ‘CENTRAL BEACONS MOUNTAIN RESCUE TEAM’
