Once again we were present at the Cardiff half marathon with a running team comprising both CBMRT members and supporters. Our eleven runners exceeded expectations once again and returned from the race in record times. They were cheered on by team members, friends and families, and the presence of one of our response Landrovers near the finish. The weather was chilly but sunny and clear, making for perfect running conditions.
This ever more popular event attracts more and more runners for CBMRT every year, as more people volunteer to use this event to raise funds for Mountain Rescue. CBMRT would like to thank the dedication shown by all runners, once again, in training hard for the event. Their months of preparation are literally paying off, as despite the economic downturn higher donations are expected from this year's event than ever before.
