The Cardiff half marathon takes place on Sunday 19 October 2008, and its growing reputation as a fast and flat race is a magnet for runners from all over the UK and overseas. The route will take you past many of Cardiff’s major attractions. Choose to run the Cardiff half marathon to raise money for mountain rescue and we will supply you with all the information you need to run a successful half marathon, plus a free T-shirt; this way you can show your support for mountain rescue both during training and while running the race. You will also have the opportunity to visit our rescue base on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, where you can hear about our work first hand from team members, as well as personally inspect our rescue equipment and vehicles.
Send us your registration details and we will organise your registration for you. For further information please contact: Christian Baars on 07738 056638, or e-mail christian.baars@museumwales.ac.uk
