71 11/12/2011 Search for missing vulnerable person in Newcastle Emlyn. Called early a.m., searched all day, nothing found.
70 08/12/2011 Search for a missing vulnerable person in Cilgerran, Cardigan. Found by police as we arrived on scene. We went home.
69 05/12/2011 Now and again we get asked to rescue animals. This time a stranded sheep on a cliff ledge in Cwmcarn, the sheep was successfully reunited with the ground.
68 03/12/2011 Search for a missing vulnerable peron, near Glyn Corrwg. We were stood down as we were on our way so we turned around and went home.
67 27/11/2011 A routine training exercise was cut short to go to the rescue of a mountain biker, in Cwmcarn who'd come off her bike and suffered a broken arm. We stretchered hre to the waiting road ambulance.
66 30/10/2011 Fourth visit to the waterfalls area in less than a week, this time for a canoeist. He'd gone over a waterfall and injured his back, suspected spinal injuries. Yet again the Sea King helicopter helped not only us but also helped the casualty's chance of recovery by winching him on board and then on to hospital.
65 25/10/2011 No gorge walking this time only walking around waterfalls area, near Gwaun Hepste. Female tripped on wet tree roots and injured her ankle. We used our skills in the suspected broken ankle department and stretchered her to the awaiting air ambulance
64 23/10/2011 Same place, Clyn Gwyn, more gorge walking, different gorge walker. This time the injury caused by pool jumping. Evacuated to helicopter again, they save us a lot of time and effort in this area.
63 21/10/2011 Rescue of an injured gorge walker, near Clyn Gwyn, who'd slipped on footpath and fell approx 20 feet to the waters edge. Winched onto Sea King helicopter to hospital.
62 18/10/2011 Similar circumstances to the previous call where misper's car located in a picnic site, near Nelson, Caerphilly. Only this time it was night time. Police helicopter thermal camera found the misper as we were arriving.
61 17/10/2011 Search for missing depressed male near Pant, Merthyr. We were searching an old quarry and the Taff Trail when a call came to police from misper saying he was okay. We went home and left the police to it.
60 08/10/2011 Search for missing vulnerable male near Craig Y Rhacca, Caerphilly. Found deceased by one of our search parties.
59 06/08/2011 Search for missing depressed male near Wattsville.
58 02/10/2011 3rd callout of the day and 4th of the weekend to Fan Y Big. Atrocious weatherfor the rescue a male hillwalker with head injuries after he'd slipped and fallen. Very wet, very dark.
57 02/10/2011 Called to Afan Argoed to the exact same spot as callout 52 for another mountain biker with equally serious injuries. Evacuated through lots of trees and rough ground to awaiting air ambulance.
56 02/10/2011 Called to Paincastle. Assistance to the ambulance service with the evacuation of a horse rider thrown from her horse.
55 01/10/2011 Search for a missing vulnerable peron in Llanrumney, Cardiff. Nothing found.
54 30/09/2011 Search for a missing hillwalker near Storey Arms. We found him after he' d mixed up the footpaths and walked off the wrong one.
53 24/09/2011 A male hillwalker collapsed on the footpath near Corn Ddu. What caused it was unclear and although team members were already on the hill nearby, we were unable to ressusitate him. Evacuated to roadside ambulance.
52 08/09/2011 Rescue of an injured mountain biker, in Afon Argoed, who'd departed his bike in a very awkward location. Suspected spinal and pelvic injuries made for a very tricky evacuation.
51 03/09/2011 Call to Pont Ar Daf again. Search for a missing hillwalker. We found him after he' d mixed up the footpaths and walked off the wrong one.
50 29/08/2011 Rescue of a hillwalker, near Pont Ar Daf, suffering an epileptic fit, flown to hospital by air ambulance.
49 27/08/2011 Called to Abercynon to assist the police through the night with a search for a missing depressed male. Found safe and well, good result.
48 22/08/2011 Called to Tylorstown. Hillwalker, slipped, yes another ankle. Treated and evacuated to road ambulance.
47 13/08/2011 Search of Royal Glam Hospital surrounding forestry and hills after a depressed male patient ran away from hospital grounds. Nothing found on the day, but he was found a few days later.
46 09/08/2011 Callout near Blaina. Two people walking became cragfast on some rocks whilst taking a short cut. We evacuated them to the roadside.
45 03/08/2011 Hillwalker, near Pont Melin Fach, slipped and suffered lacerations to their head.
44 02/08/2011 Called to Criag Cerrig Gleisiad. Out for a day walk but with inappropriate footwear causing him to slip and inkure his ankle. We did the usual and evacuated him to road ambulance.
43 25/07/2011 Second call of the day to Gwaun Hepste. Hillwalker slipped on muddy ground and guess what? Yes, another suspected broken ankle. We treated it accordingly and evacuated her to ambulance.
42 25/07/2011 Call to Merthyr Tydfill as hillwalker took a short cut through a quarry and became cragfast. Rescued by fire service as we were en route.
41 20/07/2011 Search for missing vulnerable male in the Caerphilly area.
40 13/07/2011 Female walker slipped on wet, boggy ground and injured her ankle. Evacuated her to ambulance.
39 13/07/2011 Rescue of a hillwalker, in Little Stanton, who had slippped and dislocated their knee. Evacuated to ambulance.
38 11/07/2011 Call to Gwaun Hepste to hillwalker who had slipped on wet rock and injured his ankle. We did the usual, treated it as suspected broken.
37 08/07/2011 Evacuation of a hillwalker, near Ystradowen, who had suffered a serious asthma attack.
36 06/07/2011 Called to Llyn Y Fan Fach. Rescue of a male who'd slipped and injured his leg. We loaded him onto a helicopter to hospital.

33 14/06/2011 Rescue of a walker complaining of being breathless and light headed near Scwd Yr Eira, Ystradfelte.
32 12/06/2011 Diverted from theprevious call to a lady hillwalker who had slipped and injured her shoulder and back in Staylittle, Mid Wales.
31 12/06/2011 Rescue of an injured mountain biker in Glascwm, Mid Wales. The air ambulance got to him as we were en route.

26 29/05/2011 Rescue of a hillwalker near Stoey Arms, Brecon Beacons, with chest pains, treated and evacuated by air ambulance.
25 25/05/2011 Callout to Swansea to search for missing male. Found by police teams.
24 11/05/2011 Search for missing vulnerable person near Newquay, West Wale. Found by police as we were arriving.
23 04/05/2011 Search for missing vulnerable person near Felindre, West Wale. Found by police as we were arriving.
22 03/05/2011 Search for vulnerable missing person, found decased by police as we were searching areas near Llandysl.
21 26/04/2011 Area call to just outside Ebbw Vale to assist in the evacuation of a young lady who had fallen down a scree slope. Air Ambulance evacuated her away to hospital. Nice quick job with all of the South Wales teams working together with local police and Ambulance teams.
20 26/04/2011 CBMRT were called to assist in the rescue and extraction of a male who had fallen 6m from a loose scree path into a stream, near Blaenrhondda Walk. Members of the team were on scene very quickly, miraculously the casualty had received only minor injuries and was quickly transported to the Heath Hospital, Cardiff by Air Ambulance 'Helimed 99'.
19 17/04/2011 Called to help female casualty with a lower leg injury in the Ystradfellte Waterfalls area. We were joined by the Western Beacons and Brecon Teams and, as usual, all teams worked seamlessly together to get the casualty safely to Prince Charles Hospital via RAF Rescue 169.
18 16/04/2011 The Team were called via the area call system to assist the Longtown team with a fallen climber with a suspected lower back injury at Darren Crag near Llangattock. The team along with members from Longtown and Brecon MRT, the fire service from Crickhowell and the Ambulance service evacuated the casualty to hospital.
17 26/03/2011 Whilst attending the previous callout we were asked to help with a call in the Longtown MRT area near Abergavenny. Team stood down en route.
16 26/03/2011 Second call of the day to a fallen rider near Tower Colliery, Hirwaun. This turned out to be the horse with injuries not the rider!

15 26/03/2011 First of what was to be three calls in one day. The first to a collapsed male near Fan Frynych.
14 12/03/2011 Whilst attending the previous callout we were tasked to an injured walker on Table Mountain near Crickhowell. Casualty evacuated by Helimed.
13 12/03/2011 Team called to assist ambulance service with an injured female in the Dinas Rock area. Casualty evacuated by RAF Rescue 169.
12 09/03/2011 Team responded to help with person sufering from a stroke near Henrhyd waterfalls. Casualty evacuated by Helimed.
11 05/03/2011 Call to injured person in the Camarthan Fans. Hillwalker injured his shoulder, evacuauted to hospital.
10 03/03/2011 The team was called to assist in a search of a missing person in the Treharris area. Members form Longtown MRT, Western Beacons MRT and Brecon MRT also attended.
9 28/02/2011 The team responded to a call from Western Beacons Mountain Rescue Team to assist in a search for a vulnerable female who had gone missing from her home in the Fontygary area near Cardiff International Airport.
8 15/02/2011 The team responded to support Western Beacons MRT in a search for a missing person in the Three Crosses area of the Gower, near Swansea.
7 12/02/2011 Team resources again deployed in Llangynidr Moor and Trefil Quarry areas in the search for the person who we searched for on the 9th February. Team Stood down after completing search area.
6 09/02/2011 The team responded to support Brecon MRT in the continuing search for a missing person in Llangynidr, near Brecon. Team Stood down after completing search area.
5 25/01/2011 Assist the police service with evacuation of a casualty from a remote area near Llantisill, West Wales.
4 24/01/2011 The Team were called at 1630 to Sgwd Yr Eira Waterfall in Ystradfellte, Brecon Beacons to a report of a male walker with a broken leg. An area call was initiated and we were supported by the other Mountain Rescue teams in South Wales. The casualty was treated on scene at the foot of the waterfall and was then winched from the bottom of the gorge into an RAF Sea King helicopter from Chivenor who transported him to Hospital.
3 23/01/2011 Team called on an area call to the Cwm Gwydi Nature Reserve to assist a male person with a suspected fractured ankle. The casualty was treated on scene and carried off the mountainside on a mountain rescue stretcher and handed over to the Ambulance Paramedics at the nature reserve car park.
2 19/01/2011 An area call to a lady with a suspected broken leg located just below the summit of Fan Y Big in the Brecon Beacons. Teams treated her on scene and transferred her to Air Ambulance which had landed nearby for transport to Hospital. Her walking partner was transported by the team off the hillside.
1 13/01/2011 Team called to assist a member of a film crew who where looking at a location for filming in the Vaynor quarry. Casualty slipped on some wood and received a lower leg injury. Team treated casualty and evecuated to waiting ambulance.
